I get this error code: 0xC004008 when upgrading from windows vista sp2 to windows 7 .

When I upgraded from Windows VIsta SP2 to Windows 7 Home Premium windows update is giving me this error code: 0xc004c008 telling me to turn on windows update service but is shows to be already running when I go to services.
