Password Failure after v1 Factory re-install

• Running v1 on HP 470 Mediasmart w/2T in 4 drives.
  
• Client is desktop running Win7 Ultimate x64.
  
• Server software/hardware were all running fine until...
  
• I erred installing MySQL & crashed the WHS OS.
  
• Performed Factory re-install per instructions using original HP Disks.
  
• Connector Software (x64) will not install because...
  
• Connector Installer says it cannot find Server even though...
  
• Network Center sees & displays HPServer just fine, AND
  
• I can access Server via Browser BUT
  
• Server immediately asks for UID & PW, but does not accept anything I enter.
  
• NOTE: Using RDC I can bring up Server Desktop, BUT I get the same request for UID & PW.
  
• After Factory re-install I was never given the opportunity to enter First Password.
  

What can I do?
