Guest ats@jbex Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 This may be the wrong group to ask but here goes. My company uses Exchange 2003 with Outlook as a client. When a user sends an email it shows at the recipients mail box as coming from FULL NAME. Is there a way this can be restricted to show just the initial and surname? Guest JvB Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 RE: Name problem Actually exchange uses the "display name" field. This is hard coded and cannot be changed. You could, however, change the contents of this field. Keep in mind that the exchange address lists also use this field. I will try changing this field and see what effect it has. -- ats@jbex Every year is the same And I feel it again, I'm a loser - no chance to win The Who - I'm One
