Hi,

I am using WinXP Home Edition.  The Microsoft Security Essential prompty me with the message on the taskbar icon "Potentially Unprotected".  Then I clicked the icon to update it.  However, I got another message "Virus & spywae definitions status - connection

failed.  MSE wasn't able to complete the virus & spyware definitions update on 20 April 2013.  Make sure your compputer is connected to the Internet and try again".

I checked that my internet connection is okay. I also unchecked the MS Antimalware and MS Management Console in my CC Cleaner settings and restarted my computer.  However, when I tried to update the MSE again I still have the same message.

I find MSE very troublesome.

Please help me!!!!

Thank you

glemel
