Fix for being locked up of home page on Windows 7

The system keeps going in circles.  I try to sign in  and log-in site says that password is incorrect and gives me the hint, but it is the log-in that I'm entering which is the password necessary to log-in to the account.  How can this be fixed?  I'm able

to get on my wife's page, but not mine.
