why i am getting an error with windows network diagnestics error 0x80070002 ?

Why am I receiving an error (0x80070002) when I run Windows Network Diagnostics?  I get the same error when using Internet Connection, Network Adapter, Home Group and Shared Folders.  I also get the same error when I try to download Microsoft Fit It.  15

times I tried security updates .NET Framework but FAILED (KB2729452)  code 80073712.  I can get online using my router.  Thank you in advance!
