I cannot update windows 8,error code 0x8007000D comes up when trying to update downloads 98% and the

I need a copy of my activation key as I saved a copy in my emails but had  email problems and lost the activation code and now need to re-install windows 8

I cannot update windows 8,updates get to 98% and then revert back to original, I have not been able to carry out any updates since installing windows 8 ?

I also have an error code 0x8007000D coming up which I downloaded Errorend which is supposed to fix this code but failed to repair problem.

Can anybody help ?
