Cannot access Event Viewer even though I am part of Administrators

Hello:

 

When I open up Event Viewer, I get "Unable to complete operation on....

Access denied" on all the options but Security.

 

But I am part of the Administrators group.

 

Can somebody explain to me how I can get access to all the items?
