I very recently (within the past 8 days) started to encounter Error 80070002 when running Windows Update on my laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium x64.  I have run through all the steps in the knowledge base, and have run the automatic troubleshooter,

which returns successful repair of issues; however the problem remains.Shy of having the OS fully reinstalled, are there any additional steps I should consider?
