Guest John Germany Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Hi all, I went to add/remove programs this morning and none of the programs in my list have the icon for removing/uninstalling. I am logged in as the administrator. Windows XP Home Edition. I tried rebooting several times, but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, John

Guest John Germany Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Re: Cannot add/remove programs...XP Home. I cannot right click on any of the programs in the installed list. The only thing my computer is showing is Frequency, Last Used and Size. There is no option to repair or uninstall. This icons just disappeared as of a couple of days ago sometime after I uninstalled a program from the list. There is no internet connection and I have only installed original software from the MFG, so a virus is unlikely. Thanks for anymore help. Guest matt hopkins Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Re: Cannot add/remove programs...XP Home. oh yeh sorry was thinking of the vista one with the uninstall button at the top. try turning off the check update check box and see if that helps . some programs have the remove button missing anyway. is your account on your computer an administrator account you may not have permission to remove programs or have turned it off accidentaly otherwise try this http://www.winxptutor.com/arpbuttons.htm "John Germany" <oglethorpehardware@alltel.net> wrote in message news:%237lwly3BIHA.3564@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... >I cannot right click on any of the programs in the installed list.
