i cant install windows 7 updates. i keep getting error codes"WindowsUpdate_80246008" "WindowsUpdate_

i keep trying to update windows 7 and it says there are 65 important updates. well when i try to install them i get these error codes

"WindowsUpdate_80246008" "WindowsUpdate_dt000".  windows says this is an unknown error. i tried running the fix it trouble shooter, and it gave me a detailed report. it said windows update compnents must be repaired, and problem with BITS.

those problems werent fixed. any suggestions?
