I have a windows 7 package and am currently unable to install windows updates and Updates are failing to configure. I have tried to add a device namely an ipod shuffle, the driver can not be found and when windows tries to sort out the issue automatically

it fails to do so, despite telling me i need the UBS MASS DRIVER. Is there a program, package or another way of getting my computer to install updates? all advice welcome
