During the first stage (Copying Files), the system stops and seems to be stuck on an infinite loop. Installation media is not being read from (DVD for HP and USB for Pro), yet no error messages

That includes an identical Windows 7 Home Premium Build Kit. I am posting this help topic on the working machine, while he waits patiently

for his to continue past the first installation step. We decided to use our Professional USB boot since the first attempt was not succeeding and my own disc didn't help, yet the problem persisted. Any help will be appreciated.
