My laptops behaving oddly since putting a replacement batt in about 1 yr ago it no longer gives low batt warning I've checked&notificationis on also regardless of setting (shut down'hibernate'sleeep)when

batt reaches the level I set notification 4 (around 30%)it just cuts out like power cut if plugged in while annoying I'm more worried it'll harm the computer. if I do factory reset 2 try&solve this will I still have basic windows as it was when bought?will

I still have ie as i'll need 2 reinstall all other progs?
