I have a 2004 Dell laptop that I'd completely forgotten about in my storage unit and am trying to log into it.  For the life of me, I can't remember my Administrator Password!  According to the internet, I should be able to boot up in Safe Mode and, when

it gets to the log in screen, it shouldn't require a password.  But it does.

I tried booting in Safe Mode with Command Prompt, but I don't get the screen that asks me what system I want to boot up (WinXP).  It just goes straight to needing to put in my password, like it does with regular Safe Mode.  Every search I've performed online

as to how to fix this problem keeps detailing choices that my laptop isn't giving me.

Basically, I need to bypass my own password and reset it.  Unfortunately, I no longer have the WinXP CDs either.  I want to be able to see what files I have on my laptop without damaging or deleting them before reviewing them.

Any suggestions?
