windows xp I can connect to my WiFi but it drops me out after a while

I can connect to the WiFi, there`s no problem with that. But at some point after a while, the internet just stops. The icon in the task-bar shows that the connection is fine and the signal strength is excellent, but there is no internet. The interesting

thing is that most of the times I can fix it if click "Repair". But I need to fix this permanently, it can cause data loss or paying two times for one thing. I never know where I was when this is happening. I tried everything I found in web about that, but

the problems they speak of are with connecting, mine is something else.

 

System: Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 3, Sony Vayo 1700 MHz
