Since allowing a company known as "Image Repairs" to check my system I have had a problem with Windows Updates. Whilst I am able to download the Update files I get the message 'Configuration failed, reverting changes' and all Updates therefore fail to

install.  I've tried the Microsoft fix tool but all problems (none of which I was aware are stated to be fixed) except the problem I am now experiencing. " Image Repair" which I shall not be using again, gave out a message at the end of their program advising

'problem with reinstatement of Windows Update, try installing them manually or contact their customer services' I've installed them previously when this messaged has appeared and Updates have installed and configured correctly. I hesitate to contact them on

this issue before seeking your advice.
