When I try to update the Virus and spyware, I get "Virus and spyware definitions could not be updated."  Windows 8.1 is what I am running 32byte. I do not have any other virus protection on my computer now or ever. I have been trying to resolve this for

the last couple of days. Initially, I wasn't even able to open Windows Defender but after reviewing a few forums that was taken care of.  WD is set to Automatic.  When I go to Action Center to try and turn them on, I get the revolving circle then the system folders

OS (C:) pops up.  DRVSTORE is in blue instead of black like all the others.  I tried re-enable Windows Defender simply by typing in the command line: sc start WinDefend Enable."  I ran a SFC and errors were found but unable to take ownership of the files to

change...kept getting an error.  Here are some of the filed corrupted: "utc.app.json" , "telemetry.ASM-WindowsDefault.json" ,  "Amd64CNBJ2530.DPB" Ii just cant seem to fix it.  I am at a loss.  Please help.
