"Files can't be uploaded to your OneDrive because there's a problem with a folder name."

New machine, new Windows.

For  unknown reason OneDrive freshly installed by Windows Update does not like any file with '...' prefacing filename (e.g., '... go!.docx'). Even stranger, right clicking OneDrive changes it to SkyDrive until next boot. At same time, after OneDrive changes

to SkyDrive, then sfc /scannow finds corrupt data store - on brand new Windows machine! Dism fixes data store and sfc /scannow is clean again, until... right-click SkyDrive to View sync problems, then sfc .scannow finds corrupt data store again. Round and

round Microsoft-Chairs game.

"I will use my advance tools to get this one to fix, however to set your expectation, there will be a charge." -- Richardlloyd M Answer Desk

Go jump in a lake, Richardlloyd M (scam artist)

...anyone know why  with default Windows Update OneDrive changes back to SkyDrive and corrupts data stores as described above (before the part about the Answer Desk scam)?

Does anyone know how to fix this?   (no charge, "naturally")
