windows vista How to fix Error Code: 0x80040154

Earlier to day I found that my email account had been hacked into and an identical message was sent to numerous people with whom I have had some contact with in the past. I had 7 email addresses in my Inbox, 28 others listed as 'Postmaster @ AOL.com Undeliverable......'

and 8 phone calls from friends telling me they had received the same message.

 

Consequently, I ran a full scan with Microsoft Essentials. It found ' Trojan: Win32/Bagsu!rfn' in one of my backed up files.' which it classed as being a severe threat and recommended it be removed immediately. When I clicked on the Remove button, I received

a screen message:-

 

Some of the detected threats couldn't be removed.

Class not registered.

 

Error code: 0x80040154

Can some one please tell me how I can fix the Error Code, so it allows me to remove the Trojan?
