Unverified version of Win 7 for win 10 upgrade

So, Win 10 is coming out soon and I was thinking. I have an unverified version of Windows 7 Ultimate. Will Win 10 be available to me for free or will I be required to get Win 7 verification key and then get win 10 from a verified version of win 7
