windows xp keyboard problems

Hello,

I have been trying to figure out how to solve this problem where every time I restart, the problem goes away. But everytime after my laptop goes to sleep mode on its own because I have not been using it, the settings or something changes. the spacebar turns

into a zoom function, the "z" button doesn't work, as well as the esc, and @ symbol. Just to name a few problems.

 

Does anybody know how to fix this?

 

My laptop is a Toshiba.
