Hello, I have recently had an issue with my computer, and I was looking for some support. First, my computer started acting strangely, windows and processes would freeze. After rebooting my computer multiple times, at one point my computer's startup,

login, and everything else became very slow, like it took things ten minutes to open then became slow after that. Turns out the disk was at 100% in the task manager, which I tried to fix using multiple remedies, but did not work. I thought this was a hard

drive issue, maybe it got corrupted. I asked my dad for help, and he set it into automatic repair. After about 5 minutes of the dell load up screen, it starts repairing. Everything is smooth up until it says, Repairing Disk Errors. This may take over an hour

to complete. I've left this on for a day at a time, retrying many times over. But, it does not work. I've tried setting a boot option to restore factory defaults in the bios, but it does the repair first, and doesn't restore. The computer is a Dell Inspiron

15, and did not come with a recovery disk or Windows 8 installation disk. Any help would be appreciated with at least skipping the automatic repair, then after that maybe everything else will be ok. If it isn't, then at least I can get into Windows again and

try some other solutions. (Windows 8 by the way).
