My Windows 8 gaming notebook won't open certain programs.

I've had my laptop for a while now, the other day I had to preform a factory restart due because my laptop was starting to be slow. I had Windows 8.1 at the time. Now at the moment I just have Windows 8 and now installed all the programs I need on this

laptop. All the programs worked at first after the factory reset. I installed some windows updates onto the computer. I restarted my laptop so the program and updates update and now I can't open certain programs like Skype, SCM and Razer Synapse ect. It all

worked before the computer restart. When I try to go onto the program, It will come for a bit then it will say " **** has stopped working".
