Hello!

I am currently experiencing a problem where my wireless connection drops off when I insert a disc into the disc drives or a memory stick into a USB port. I have never had this problem before, and none of my mates have seen/heard of this.

Can anyone help?

I'm running XP Home SP3 and the adapter is a Linksys Wireless G 2.4ghz

Thanks for looking!!!

How are you connecting to the router - USB or Ethernet?

It is odd that its dropping off - is it ADSL or CABLE?

It just seems like some of the settings are out.

Thanks for the reply. The Router is a Home Hub based in my Lounge, and I am using a Linksys Wireless adapter to connect to it. The Router doesn't drop off or lose any connection, its just my machine....

You need to reinstall the drivers for the network adapter - if its a USB stick or an add in card then you need to uninstall the drivers VIA device manager and when you REBOOT they will be detected - or you can use the CD that came with the adapter/card
