Guest qazmlp1209@rediffmail.com Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Is there an option in Textpad to make the settings permanent? Currently, after opening the file using the Textpad, I change the 'Font size' and also the word wrap settings from their default settings. I need to do this always, and the settings get applied only for the currently opened file and not even for all the files. Also, these settings get reset when the Textpad is opened again. Is there a way to make these settings permanent?
Guest Alan Edwards Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Re: Textpad: How to make the changed settings permanent? Font view is permanent for me. (version 5.0.3) If I change it for a document class as stipulated in the Help index, then that view remains for screen or printer, whichever I changed. Word wrap seems to be temporary. Try the Textpad forum and see if anyone has found a way around that. ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows - Internet Explorer http://dts-l.org/index.htm On Sat, 06 Oct 2007 04:38:12 -0700, in microsoft.public.windowsxp.general, "qazmlp1209@rediffmail.com" <qazmlp1209@rediffmail.com> wrote: >Is there an option in Textpad to make the settings permanent? > >Currently, after opening the file using the Textpad, I change the >'Font size' and also the word wrap settings from their default >settings.
