Hi,

I bought a Microsoft LifeCamVX-1000 and have d/l the cd software.

The d/l seemed to go ok but then the 'wizard' said it cannot install this hardware because it cannot find the necessary software!!!!

I have XL Home edition.

Any ideas?????:rolleyes:

Hello and Welcome to FPCH Roy. :)

 

It seems that you have not installed the driver for your webcam and that is why you are getting the error. Please download the appropriate driver from here and install it. Make sure the webcam is connected when you do so. After the installation is complete, reboot your computer. You should now be able to use your webcam. If you need more specific instructions, you might want to use the Documentation available here.
