Guest Igor Pinchevskiy Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Hello, How can one check when Windows 2003 Evaluation Server expires, I know it's good for 180 days, but we can't remember when we installed it. Also to upgrade to a full server license do we need to reinstall the OS or just enter a new number, if so where can we do it? Thank you in advance, Igor Pinchevskiy
Guest Mathieu CHATEAU Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Re: Windows 2003 Evaluation Server Hello, you can enter a new valid serial to register it. Guest Igor Pinchevskiy Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Re: Windows 2003 Evaluation Server Thank you Mathieu! Is there a way to check to see when the eval version expires or no?
Guest Igor Pinchevskiy Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Re: Windows 2003 Evaluation Server Hello Mathieu, I tried the method you wrote, however it tells me that windows is already activated, but as far as I know its been activated with the eval version and how can we activate it using a full license? Thanks, Igor Pinchevskiy
Guest Mathieu CHATEAU Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Re: Windows 2003 Evaluation Server Hello, i was wrong, you need to upgrade the windows version to full retail. Basically, you will make a repair from a retail version, enter your serial number, and apply again hotfixes. Is it an SBS version ? To check when it expires, from a cmd, type: winver.exe -- Cordialement, Mathieu CHATEAU English blog: http://lordoftheping.blogspot.com French blog: http://www.lotp.fr "Igor Pinchevskiy" <sales@lacomputerwarehouse.com> wrote in message news:1191961232.307705.38960@50g2000hsm.googlegroups.com... > Hello Mathieu, > > I tried the method you wrote, however it tells me that windows is > already activated, but as far as I know its been activated with the > eval version and how can we activate it using a full license? > > Thanks, > Igor Pinchevskiy >
