How to keep desktop icon for McAfee

My Desktop(Quick launch) for McAfee is disabled,I am not able to get

from where i need to keep

I would unistall McAfee and any other antivirus utilities and choose between

AVG and Avast as your anti-virus programs.

Uninstall McAfee, then reinstall. If this doesn't help or can't be

done, see

You could drag an existing shortcut into this folder:

 

C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

 

Otherwise create a new shortcut that points to McAfee's .exe file,

whatever it is.
