RDP Vista

When I try to log into 2003 x64 terminal services with windows vista business

the RDP session just dies. I see applying settings, then I get the Vista

error screen indicating "Remote desktop connection has stopped working."

 

The Vista event log contains EventName = APPCRASH, mstsc.exe, 6.0.6000.16386

etc.

 

The windows server does not contain any logged entries.

 

Is there a fix for this?

I found that if I change the sound setting to not bring sound, it logs in

fine. So the problem has something to do with sound. both the server and the

vista computer have sound cards with souind enabled etc.
