Emailing attachments from Sharepoint Folders

Forgive me for cross posting, but I wasn't sure which group was appropiate

for this inquiry.

I've a TS that is a member server in a SBS 2k3 network. I've followed the

instructions in "Locking Down Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server Sessions"

to minimize the risks/mishaps that users can cause.

However, what I found is that there is no way for users to connect to the

document folders in SharePoint to be able to email attachments. I would

like them to be able to do this via OL2003. However, when selecting 'Insert

> File', there is only 'My Documents' to select from.

I'd appreciate any assistance in finding a workaround to be able to

accomplish what I'm trying to do w/o granting the users access to network

shares or local TS volumes.

TIA

I don't know if the following will work but try to type the URL path to the

SharePoint site next to filename, press enter and see what happens. e.g.

http://companyweb

Re: Emailing attachments from Sharepoint Folders

Thanks for the reply!

Using the url does in fact get me to the respective document folder(s)...

However, the view that it shows (default) only allows inserting files one at

a time. Anyway to modify this so that you can insert multiple files?

Once again, thanks for the assistance..

Re: Emailing attachments from Sharepoint Folders

Please ignore my last reply - With a little experimenting, I found a way to

work around this.

While in the 'Insert File' box of OL2003, changing to any view changes the

behavior and allows you to select multiple files.

Thanks for the assistance!
