Auto login on a per-user basis

I don't know if this is even possible, but I thought I'd ask...

We are running a TS environment. Some of the clients access only a

shop floor program, which handles user authentication at the

application level. We want to let these thin clients auto-logon;

however, we do not want to allow regular users that ability (we don't

want them to be able to save their password in the RDP client).

Is there any policy or setting that is similar to "Administrative

Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Encryption and Security

\Always prompt client for password upon connection", but can be

applied on a per-user basis?

Thanks,

Re: Auto login on a per-user basis

Are your regular users running XP or W2K clients? If so, then this

might help:

839918 - Hotfix that lets you control whether a user can save a

password for Remote Desktop Connection sessions to a terminal

server in Windows XP or in Windows 2000
