Guest Ron Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I have two W2k3 servers that disappear from network neighborhood. When I run Browstat status <domain> I receive this message: Browsing is NOT active on domain. Status: 6118 Master name cannto be determined from GetAdapterStatus I made my PDC (W2K3) the master browser by setting the IsDomainMaster to True (I've also tried setting it to Yes), we have both WINS and DNS setup as well. This is a single homed system. I've changed NIC and disabled and re-enabled the File and Print setting in the NIC but nothing seems to work. How do you activate browing on the domain? All other servers and workstations appear within network neighborhood. I can ping and access the other two servers with no problem. Just can't see them listed which causes problems for MAC users. The only thing I did to both of these servers was install a new HP network printer last week but I don't see how this could cause the problem. Any suggestions?
