Time taken during new pre-install

Please can you help, I have recently built a new pc,when I try to pre-install the new operating operating system, which is windows vista premium ,it takes a long time to load up to the to the instructions and registration key etc,In the end I have given up because of the time taken,.I have in the last year built three brand new pcs for the family using Windows vista premium, i have never had this problem before,so any advises would help to get this problem solved.!

What were the specifications on the three previous machines compared to this latest install?

 

Did you also use a fresh copy of Vista, in any flavour, on each occasion?

on all the new pc rebuilds i have used all brand new window vista premium operating

systems,the only difference being was a different motherboard which was

ASUS AMD M2N-MX SE PLUS SOCKET AM2 AM2+,where the prior ones were

Asus M2N-MX SE nForce 430 Socket AM2 Motherboard, all the other hardware

etc,were the same.

You cant fix this issue - its just that some of the Vista disks are harder to read than others - they are very problematic and I have even had to send some back!

Some machines just take longer to install to on Vista - no fix on this one I am afraid :(
