I'd appreciate any advice on how to get one's printer to feed through super thin paper - in this case, 'onion skin'.

Am using a Canon 'Pixma MP150' and wonder although I've tried the 'specialty paper' setting, it still won't play nicely with onion skin as it either won't feed it through at all or starts to and then stops - drat.

Thanks so much.

Hi Mara,

I had a quick look and the most common issue is:-

small pieces of paper in the pick up assembly gears. If you remove the rear door, you need to check the 2 small white gears on the left. turn the roller slowly by hand and clear any paper stuck between the teeth, the paper can be miniscule but still cause errors.

And that may even explain why smaller pieces of regular printing paper feed through on an angle - I'm off to investigate and thank you ever so much once again!
