Versions of Visual Basic 6?

Recommended Posts

Years ago, I downloaded VB6 from the Karen Kenworthy site, which I feel is

trustworthy.

I have a number of utilities that need VB6, no issues.

Recently, I tried a game, it said "your version of VB6 is old, it needs a

newer version." Same thing with another program a few days ago.

Is there versions of VB6, if so, a URL for the "current version"?.

You don't have (or want) Visual Basic. What you want are the Visual

Basic *runtime* files...files needed by programs written with Visual

Basic but which do not include those files.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=visual+basic+runtime+files

Thanks, dadiOH. There are Service Packs, so there are indeed updates.
