What does LegacyNIC=1 mean?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm testing booting Win2003R2 Enterprise Edition X64 Version with SP2 from

iSCSI target. It works fine. Then I use setupmgr to generate sysprep.inf and

running sysprep to deloy it but got a blue screen after reboot. After contact

WinBoot/i support, I have a solution by putting LegacyNIC=1 in sysprep.inf to

fix it. I searched in ref.chm and microsoft web site but unfortunately

couldn't find any explaination regarding this value.

Thank you,

This value appears to be used for text mode drivers -- see the article
