Guest ryan Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 this may be a dumb question, but Im wanting to install the printer management MMC on one of our 03 servers, but what is the difference between R2 and service pack 2, is R2 after service pack 2, whereas I would need to purchase it? I was under the assumption that service pack 2 contained R2. thanks
Guest Brett I. Holcomb Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Re: windows server R2 or service pack 2 Not dumb. R2 is like a new version of 2003 Server. It has some added features and improvements - one of which is printer management. You have to buy R2 and it is not part of SP2.
