I'm having trouble with the mouse I'm using, so attempted to install an older mouse (MS wireless optical mouse Blue with IntelliPoint 4.1 software). I get a message saying it's incompatible with Windows 7. I let it search for solutions, but it didn't come up with anything. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

You are using an old version of software which as you found out is not compatible with Windows 7.

 

Here is a link to the newest version which will work with Windows 7.
