Guest 2Sweet Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I have installed and configure FSRM (using Windows 2003 R2 Server Std Edt) and set quota on user folders. User workstation was mapped to the shared folder. Question is, user delete files or folders in the mapped drive. Can it be recovered?

If you have volume shadow copies enabled for that drive on the server, you can connect to a shared folder, which is at a higher level in the tree, right click an folder containing the deleted files and select Properties. Here you have a previous versions tab. Select the date you want to restore by doubleclick and restore the files (the safer way is by copying them instead of restore the complete folder, since the last would overwrite newer stuff as well). If you dont have this feature enabled, you can only rely on your backup - if you made one. Best greetings from Germany Olaf
