I am not sure if I am in the right forum however here my question. I have 4

servers connected to a KVM Switch. To make it easier to work I would like to

have some description on the desktop that I know on which server I am

currently are.

How do I create some text without changing the wallpaper. Speaking how do I

add text over the wallpaper.

Thank you

Google BGINFO. It does exactly what you want.

You can use BGinfo from SysInternals

It will change the wallpaper, though. It takes the information you want

written over the wallpaper and superimposes it.
