Allowing non-"Print Operators" to manage printers

Hello all,

On some of our sites, the Domain Controller, Print Server and File

Server roles have been consolidated into one server.

We want to be able to give IT-staff of the Business Units enough

rights to manage printers (add, remove, share) on those servers, but

we don't want to add them to the domain-wide "Printer Operators" or

"Server Operators" group, because if we do that, they can manage all

servers and not just the ones of their own sites.

So what I would like to do is to create a group per Business Unit that

is allowed to manage printers on that Business Unit's Domain

Controllers.

Does anyone know if that is possible?

Regards,

Each individual member server should have its own Print Operators group.

Add your business unit groups, etc to that. They should then be Print

Operators only on that specific member server.

You will need to do this on each individual server for which you want to

add these roles.
