Guest jtg Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 I have a shared internet drive (web drive) on a windows 2003 server enterprise edition server. I can open and save files on the server on a remote laptop connected to the internet... the drive is a shared web drive. However, if I edit the documetn, save it, and close it, the edits I made are gone! If I go in through remote desktop and open the document, the changes are all there. Is there something I'm missing? Port 80 is bound to the server, I have no problems accesing the web pages remotely, or saving data files onto the shared web drive using the same remote connection-- the only problems I have is when I open a doc, save it, and come back and open it again. Is there some caching setting I'm missing somewhere? Thanks.
