Guest jcquirin@eoc-france.fr Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Hi With Windows 2003, i would like to know how verify how much processors are physically installed in a server. When you check that with Property on My computer, you don't see the real number of proc, same thing with MSinfo32, and it's the same with a srvinfo.exe command, you always see, the number of slots available for proc or see a fake information because it’s dual proc…who know how to check the true. Thanks JC
Guest jtg Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 RE: How verify how much processors are physically installed in a serve Press ctl+alt+delete (or run taskmgr from the start menue). Go to the "performance" tab. There will be a graph for CPU usage for each processor physically installed. Note-- there will be a seperate chart for each processor, each core, and each Hyperthreadding "logical" core. So, if you have 1 dual core or you have 1 hyperthreading p3, there will be 2 graphs.
