Hello Azz. What you ask for greatly depends on the model number of your sound card? Can you please post it if you know it or give us a hint to which driver you want exactly? My search brought me to this page where you can download the drivers for one of its models. Please provide us with the required information so that we may refine our results more efficiently. :)

well ill tell u the situation..

i was on this forum before and got directed to a sigmatel major-c audio driver

but i didnt save the file, i just hit "run", then recently my microphone stopped working and had no driver for it, then just today my speakers went off, all that is happening is that it has no driver for it,

that was what i previously downloaded,

hope that is enough info and not a load of blabbing on :D

No, that is enough information to guess the correct driver. I think this is the driver you are looking for. If yes, please download the driver and install. Next, reboot your computer and check if the sounds are audible or not. One more word, the site I link will display useless ads asking you to scan with various products. Please ignore them and proceed with the download.

Sigmatel Audio Drivers

 

you can use the dell.ca website.

 

dell.ca

scroll down and click downloads and drivers

then pick a model

then click audio

then find one that's sigmatel

 

works well if u have a dell and know ur model

if u don't have a dell then find out what dells use

the same driver as urs and then search that model

 

 

example find for a dimension 9200:

SIGMATEL STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio version - 5.10.0.4991, A07
