Guest R2 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Hi , I am trying to add my application in the windows firewall exception list using coomand prompt . This works fine on windows XP and windows vista but when i am adding my application on windows server 2003 enterprise edition through command prompt,it is not adding my application in firewall exception list. i am adding it through netsh command. but it gives me error that firewall is not recognized as internal command. Can anybody help me for that?what could be the problem? Regards, R2.

I would recommend stepping through the contextual help on the netsh command step-by-step on the server to make sure your command is actually valid and not different on server. I can't imagine that it is, but that's where I would start. -- Jack Doyle, Systems Engineer ScriptLogic Corporation http://www.scriptlogic.com
