Question: database server - Windows 2003 Server STD 64-bit, installed SQL

2005 both SP1

A problem happens every 4-12 hours where we can connect to the server using

remote desktop, ping by hostname or IP, but can't app servers can't connect

to the database server SQL. From the database server when we have this

problem i can ping out via host name or IP but if I try to access any file

shares I get an device on this machine is not working. If we reboot the

server the problem goes away for a few hours. The machine is not a domain

controller.
