Event Type: Error Event Source: VSS Event Category: None Event ID: 7001 Date: 10/17/2007 Time: 7:30:00 AM User: N/A Description: VssAdmin: Unable to create a shadow copy: Either the specified volume was not found or it is not a local volume. Command-line: 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\vssadmin.exe Create Shadow /AutoRetry=5 /For=\\?\Volume{770d9e12-6dce-11dc-b0d3-0019b9b51f76}\'. and the second one: Event Type: Error Event Source: VSS Event Category: None Event ID: 12298 Date: 10/15/2007 Time: 10:42:14 AM User: N/A Description: Volume Shadow Copy Service error: The I/O writes cannot be held during the shadow copy creation period on volume C:\. The volume index in the shadow copy set is 0. Error details: Open[0x00000000], Flush[0x00000000], Release[0x80042314], OnRun[0x00000000]. and the third.. Event Type: Error Event Source: VolSnap Event Category: None Event ID: 5 Date: 10/16/2007 Time: 9:15:07 AM User: N/A Description: The shadow copy of volume V: could not be created due to insufficient non-paged memory pool for a bitmap structure. This last one I think is strange since V is an external drive and I'm not doing any snapshots to it.. But this error does pop up on other non snapshotted drives as well... Any ideas?
