Guest justin2312@gmail.com Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I've read a few how-to docs on installing Remote Installation Service (RIS) on Windows Server 2003; they all seem to say go to Add/Remove Programs> Windows Components and select "Remote Installation Service". I looked on my server, however, and the option isn't listed there at all. I'm sure the server is Windows Server 2003 SP1, is there any reason why the feature would be absent?
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Re: Installing RIS on Windows Sever 2003 Hello justin2312@gmail.com, In add/remove programs windows components look for Windows Deployment service. And please do not post the same questions so often to the same NG's. If someone here can help you, he/she will do. One question, one posting is the good way also for the people trying to help you. Because they have to read and understand also what other are answering to you to prevent asking the same questions.
