sporadic restart of server

I have a Windows 2003 server that is shutting down on me at increasing

frequency. Seems once a day now.

I'm guessing that it's a hardware issue (no particular reason yet).

In any case, I want to identify exactly when it is shutting down (how many

times, how often) in the event logs.

Can someone advise me on an event ID to look for that will reliably tell me

a shutdown has happened? I want to see the history of these shutdowns.

thanks

Re: sporadic restart of server

Same thing here on one 2003 enterprise sever. no even log entries, just a

complete restart, no blue screen either.
